I am so excited about the upcoming school year. I love school and that is probably why I became a teacher. I am starting my 12th year teaching 2nd grade in the district. I spent 6 years at Forest Glen before helping to open Bay Harbor five years ago. I am originally from Neenah, WI. I have both a Social Work degree and an Elementary Education degree from UW-Oshkosh. I have also completed my Master’s degree from Marian University in Curriculum and Instruction. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, reading, cooking, camping, quilting and updating my home in Howard. I also spend a lot of time with my family and friends.
I LOVE PINK AND GREEN! That is why I chose this website format!
As the school year gets going, we will be looking for some parent volunteers to help out in our classroom. I will be sending home additional information regarding volunteering in the near future. During September, our class will be working hard to get to know each other and build our family. I plan to start a regular volunteer schedule in October when our class has settled into a routine and we have gotten to know each other. There are several different ways you can help. I will send home more information very soon. All volunteers need to have a background check completed. If you have not done this, or need to renew yours, now is a great time to get that process started as it takes about 4 weeks to complete. More information and the forms for this process can be found on the district webpage or ask Sally or Genny in the Bay Harbor office.
